About Me

I have loved photography since I was young, and started thinking seriously about it as a career in high school. After working as a photojournalist for a daily newspaper in my hometown of La Grande, OR, I decided to take my photography to the next level. I attended Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff and enrolled in the Commercial Photography program. I earned my Bachelor's of Science in Commercial Photography from NAU in 2000. While attending school at NAU, I was chosen "Most Oustanding Graduate in Photography" for my graduating class! What an honor!

After moving to ND, I worked for five years in Special Education while earning my M.Ed. in Early Childhood Special Ed. I truly enjoy that field, but photography just kept calling me back!

So, working as a photographer part-time for the past 6 years, I finally decided to go full-time. Its a big, scary, totally exciting adventure!
